Suddenly and unexpectedly Betty passed away on Monday, 9 October, 2023 in her 89th year, beloved wife of Brian for 60 plus years, devoted mother to Amanda, Nigel and Kayti, proud and loving mother-in-law to Einar and Sean, and much-loved Gran to seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all the family, and so many friends near and far, having been involved in such a variety of interests.
Funeral Service
There will be a cremation service for the family on Thursday, 2 November.
A memorial service to celebrate Betty’s long and rich life will take place in St Aubin Methodist Church at 11 am on Thursday, 16 November, followed by refreshments at the Somerville Hotel.
All will be most welcome.
