1922 – 2023. –

The family would like to thank everyone who attended Pauline (Granny)’s funeral on Wednesday. To the friends and carers, the amazing staff at St Ewolds who made her final nine years so secure and happy. And to Dr Parris who managed to cope with Granny’s feistiness. To Julian and Mark at Maillards for all their care and guidance with the funeral planning. And to Peter Clayton at St Mark’s for a truly memorable service. Finally to Ransoms Tea Rooms for putting on such a lavish spread afterwards.

Francis, Anne, Charles, Elena, Alissa, Philip and their families wish to thank everyone for supporting Uncle Frank during his last weeks, and us following his death. We give special thanks Dr Ed Klaber at Health Plus, and LV Care for their outstanding care, to Mr Ben Hughes, Dr Mohamed B. and all in Oncolgy, and the team at Jersey Hospice. We are grateful to all who sent letters, cards and donations in Frank’s memory, and to those who attended his funeral service. We were especially grateful to Father Edward for the funeral service, to Imogen Nicholls for her solo and to Andy, Neil and team at Pitcher & Le Quesne Funeral Directors who took such good care of us all. Finally, thank you to all who came to share their memories of Frank after the service.

DENNING, Mary Elizabeth (née Perchard)

Passed away peacefully in Queensland, Australia on Thursday, 6 July, 2023, wife of George (Danny) Denning and mother to Lynsey and Steven, sister to Sheila, Jean and Alan, and a loving grandmother.

Mary’s beautiful smile will always be remembered by all those who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends wishing to attend Mary’s Celebration of life service are invited to meet at St Martin’s Parish Church at 11.30 am on Tuesday, 24 October.

LE VANNAIS, Maurice Dennis

Passed away peacefully in the loving care of Jersey Hospice on Tuesday, 3 October, 2023, aged 89 years, dearly loved husband of Christiane, adored father of Liliane, Carole and the late Gerry, father-in-law to the late Jenny, and proud Papa of Amy, Alec and Peter. He will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends.

Passed away at home with her family by her side on Monday, 2 October, 2023, beloved wife of Paul, devoted mother of Tom and George, cherished daughter and sister. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
