SHERIFFE, Carl Anthony

Sadly passed away on Tuesday, 7 November, 2023, aged 61 years. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

SLOUS, David Charles

Passed away peacefully at Jersey Hospice Care on Tuesday, 19 December, 2023, aged 82 years, much-loved father of Jenny, Lorraine, and Ann, partner of Janine, adored Grandad and great-Grandad. David will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Passed away peacefully in the care of Le Petit Bosquet Nursing Home, on Monday, 18 December, 2023, devoted, cherished mother of Joanna and Christopher, and loving wife to Neil. Angela will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Birds outstretch their wings so they can fly, they soar to great heights, up in the sky.

Be free now beautiful Mum with the angels above, we’re heartbroken here, holding on to your eternal love.

Love you so much beautiful Mum, you will forever be in our thoughts and hearts.

HOUZÉ, Marcel.

Anne and all the family would like to thank everyone who joined us in celebrating Marcel’s life at St Thomas’ Church recently, and to all who sent the many cards and messages of condolence. Thank you to Canon Dominic for his help, guidance and leading the service, to Aurelie Norman for playing the organ, The Funeral Choir, and members of the St Martin’s Choir for leading the singing. Appreciation goes to all who gave donations to Dementia Jersey in Marcel’s memory. Our lasting gratitude goes to all the wonderful carers who looked after Marcel during his final years in La Haule Care Home, The Rosewood Ward and everyone in the Caroline Shepard Unit of St Joseph’s Care Home. Our appreciation also goes to Leah De Rosa and the team at De Gruchy’s Funeral Care for their excellent help in organising the special send off for Marcel.
