Family and friends wishing to attend the funeral service of Beryl Skinner are invited to meet at St Saviour’s Church on Friday, 1 September at 10.30 am, and her burial at Surville Cemetery will follow afterwards where all are also welcome.

No mourning clothes please. Colour and bling desirable.

Following on, family and friends are invited to The Inn on Queen’s Road to celebrate the life of Beryl.

TIMMS, Ella

Aged 40 years, Ella passed away peacefully on Monday, 24 July, 2023, at the General Hospital. Ella is survived by her father Micky, and beloved dog Boo. Ella has been laid to rest at a private service alongside her beloved mother in Surville Cemetery.

No flowers please, however if desired, donations may be made to Jersey Eating Disorders Support, Cavatina, 82 Miladi Farm Estate, Longueville Road, St Saviour, JE2 7QH.

Margaret, Derek, Mick, Andy and family would like to thank all who attended Don’s funeral. Thank you for all the cards, messages and donations to Eyecan. Thank you to Rev Tracy Le Couteur Bromley and the hospital chaplaincy for supporting both Margaret and Don. Especially thanking them for not only conducting the funeral service in such a personal manner, but for staying with Margaret by her hospital bedside whilst it was being held. Thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of both the General Hospital and Overdale for their care and support during Margaret and Don’s periodical admissions. Thank you to Paul Kemp and staff of De Gruchy’s Funeral Care for your guidance, professionalism and sensitivity. Finally, thanks to the management and staff of Hotel Christina for their hospitality.

ALLO, Bernard Francis

Passed away peacefully away on Friday, 18 August, 2023, with his loving family at his side, aged 84 years, adored husband of Thérèse for 65 years, much-loved Dad of Rob and Richard, cherished father-in-law of Lynda and Marion, treasured Papa to Rachel and Matthew. Bernie will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
