O’CONNOR, Christopher Shawn. –

Rita, Natasha, Richard and Amelia have been overwhelmed by the volume of cards, messages, visits and love shown by our wonderful family and friends during a very sad time – thank you so much to you all. We were so grateful to all those who attended Chris’ funeral and viewed it online, we hope you agree it was a wonderful send off for a very special man. Many thanks to Andy Errington-Rennel from Pitcher & Le Quesne for all his support and guidance, and a special thanks to Dr Paul Rowan for leading a service that celebrated Chris’ life so perfectly. Thanks also to Leigh Saunter for playing the organ so beautifully during both the hymns and Chris’ favourite Beatles songs, and thank you to Fiona and her wonderful team at the Ommaroo Hotel who enabled us to organise a celebration that Chris would have very much enjoyed. Finally, thank you so much to all those of you who made donations to Family Nursing & Home Care (Jersey) and Cancer Research UK Jersey in Chris’ memory, we are sure your support has been gratefully received.
