Jane, Lisa and Nicola wish to thank all who attended Ja’s funeral. Special thanks to Brian Vibert who conducted such a lovely service, Ian the organist, the guard of honour held by young men Ja taught to row, and the representation of many police colleagues. A huge thank you to all who sent cards, letters, flowers and to everyone who donated to Dementia Jersey in Ja’s memory. Everyone involved made the funeral a very personal celebration of his life. Heartfelt thanks to Barney Sweeney and his colleagues at Maillards for their expertise, guidance and professionalism in helping with arrangements for Ja’s funeral.

Passed away on Sunday, 10 August, 2025 aged 90 years, adored husband to Anita, much-loved Dad to Jonathan and Roz, father-in-law, to Nicky and Chris, cherished Grandad to Tabatha, Piers, Chloe, Harry and Finley. John will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
