Passed away suddenly on Easter Monday, 10 April, 2023, aged 74 years, devoted mother of Tania and Jason, loving Nan, great-Nan and a caring friend to many. Will be sorely missed.

LUDLOW, Caroline Jean (née Wilson)

Passed away peacefully in the care of Clifton Care Home on Thursday, 13 April, 2023, aged 73 years, devoted Mum to Fiona and Graeme, respected mother-in-law to Gareth and Emily and adored grandmother to Dylan, Cari and Violet. Caroline will be missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral Service

Caroline’s funeral service will be held on Thursday, 4 May in St Columba’s Church, Midvale Road at 11.30 am, followed by a private cremation.

OAKES, Audrey

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 4 April, 2023, aged 91 years, beloved Mum of Jeremy and mother-in-law of Laurence, loving grandmother of Nicholas and great-grandmother of Emma-Rose and Oliver. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

PORTER, Mickey

St Ouen’s Football and Sports Club is sad to hear of the passing of Mickey. He was a great supporter of local football where he coached juniors at several clubs before making his home in St Ouen, with his wife Ann. He joined the club, coached junior teams, became a committee member, Vice President and would attend matches whenever possible despite his deteriorating health.

RAYMOND, Charles Hugh

Hugh passed away in the beginning of his 78th year in the care of the General Hospital on Sunday, 9 April, 2023, devoted husband of Kay, adored and respected father to Charlotte and Joe and a dear Grampy to Eloise and Kali. He will be dearly missed by all the family.

Hugh’s funeral service will be held on Thursday, 27 April at 11.30 am in Trinity Parish Church, followed by a private cremation.

Roselle, Margaret and David would like to thank all family and friends who attended Norman’s Funeral and everyone who sent cards, flowers, messages of sympathy and donations to Hospice. We would especially like to thank Julian, Mark and all at Maillards for their professional and kind manner in making all the funeral arrangements. Tracy and Brian for conducting a wonderful service that Norman would have been so delighted with. James for the Eulogy, Peter for his reading, Mary for her poem and lovely flowers in the Church, Jackie for the beautiful coffin spray and Alan for the music. Thank you also to the ladies from the St Lawrence Ladies Action Group for organizing an excellent wake. Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful nurses and carers at Hospice during January and February and St Josephs Care Home for their care and support at the end.

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, 2 April, 2023, in his 86th year, Dad to Tracy, father-in-law to Sebastian, Grandad to Ben and Jack. He will be missed by his family and friends.

James’ funeral service will take place on Friday, 28 April at 1 pm in the Crematorium Chapel, Westmount Road.
