The Jersey Football Association extend their condolences to Ann and her family on the recent passing of Mickey Porter.

DE LA MARE, Winifred Monica (née Lenaghan)

Sadly passed away suddenly at the General Hospital on Friday, 31 March, 2023, aged 102 years, with granddaughter Amanda and Steve by her side.

A wonderful mother, Nan and great-Nan.

Thanks to the priest for her comfort to us and saying a prayer for Nan. Our heartfelt thanks also to Isabel and staff at Glanville Residential Home for the care and kindness given to Nan for the past seven years, she loved you all.

To my Nan.

I will miss my weekly visits with you, our chats, and stories together, your quirky little laugh, but I have some beautiful happy memories to keep in my heart that will always stay with me. You were the best Nan anyone could have wished for and loved very much.

Sleep tight Nan, reunited with your daughter Irene and husband Leonard.

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service for Winifred are invited to meet at St Saviour’s Parish Church on Thursday, 20 April at 12.30 pm, followed by interment in the Parochial Cemetery.

Passed away peacefully in the loving care of Jersey Hospice on Wednesday, 5 April, 2023, aged 82 years, beloved wife of the late Roy, loving Mum, Granny and great-Granny. Eileen will be greatly missed by the Bowden and Le Couilliard families.

Funeral Service

Family and friends wishing to attend Eileen’s funeral service are invited to the Crematorium Chapel, Westmount Road, St Helier on Friday, 28 April at 11.30 am.
