MELVILLE, Carole Angela (née Lacey).

Carole’s husband David, and her family, would like to thank all of the following; Everyone who sent cards, phoned or called to offer their sympathy and support at this very sad time. Those who sent flowers for the funeral or have made a donation to MacMillan Cancer Support (Jersey) in Carole’s memory. All relatives and friends who attended the funeral, with special thanks to the Very Reverend John Seaford for conducting the service and making it so personal, which would have delighted Carole. To Simone Garton who sang a beautiful solo that was a favourite piece of Carole’s. To Dr Julie Le Cornu for all of her excellent care of Carole during her long fought battle, and to each and every member of the oncology dept for their professionalism and exceptional care, with particular thanks to Dr Rob Lown and Paulo Sabo for their care of Carole during her treatment. To Heather Moran and her team at La Moye golf club for providing an excellent reception after the funeral, to Cherie Le Maistre of Pitcher & Le Quesne for her excellent and sound advice when arranging the funeral, and for the team around her who were so thoughtful and helpful during every step of the way.

As it will be impossible to thank all those concerned individually, please accept this press acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt appreciation.

Fay, Margaret and Ronnie would like to thank everyone for all their kind messages of love and sympathy at this sad time.

Thank you to all the health professionals and medical staff who cared for Waddy especially Dr Sean Ryan, his GP Drs, staff at Jersey Hospice, Kelly Kennedy and the staff at St Ewolds and to all the staff on Beauport Ward, where Waddy passed away on 10th January. Thank you for all your love and care.

BAUDAINS, Arthur Francis

Passed away peacefully at the General Hospital on Tuesday, 7 February, 2023, after a short illness bravely borne, aged 84 years, adored husband and best friend of Pat for 62 years, beloved father of Ian and Debbie, father-in-law of Matthew, much-loved Grandpa of James, Christopher and Amy.

Funeral Service

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service for Arthur are invited to meet at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, St Aubin on Friday, 3 March at 1.30 pm.

A private cremation will follow.

Bright clothes to be worn by request.
