MELVILLE, Carole Angela (née Lacey)

Passed away peacefully after a brave fight with cancer on Monday, 9 January, 2023, aged 78 years, devoted wife to David Logan Melville, professional golfer, affectionate sister of Vivienne and Roger. Golfer, reader, quilter, bridge player and walker, she will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral Service

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service for Carole are invited to meet at St Helier Parish Church on Tuesday, 7 February at Noon, followed by a private committal.

Flowers are welcome and should arrive at the office of Pitcher & Le Quesne no later than 9 am the day of the funeral.

Previously of Jersey and Somerset, died peacefully in Pitlochry, Perthshire on Sunday, 8 January, 2023, aged 89, much-loved wife of the late Major Christopher Bonn and mother of David, Sylvia, Carina, Philip, Camilla, Melissa and Melanie, grandmother to Thomas, Catherine, Alice, Sarah and Sophie.

Funeral at Innerwick Church, Glenlyon on Thursday, 26 January at 10.30 am.

BOURKE, Sheila Ann (née Pestel)

Passed peacefully away on Saturday, 7 January, 2023, beloved mother of Mary, Geoff, Michael, Chris and Peter and mother-in-law to Carole and Julie. A treasured grandmother and great-grandmother.

One of the dearest and one of the best, God called her home to her heavenly rest.

Loved in life and treasured in death, a beautiful memory of her is left.

Passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of St Joseph’s care home after a short illness with family by her side on Friday, 30 December, 2022, aged 93, beloved wife of the late Eddie, mother to the late Barbara, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was much-loved and will be sadly missed by Viki, Lizi, Danny, Zak, Millie, her family in the West Midlands and all who knew her.

Funeral Service

For all of those wishing to say goodbye, a funeral service will be held at Trinity Parish Church on Wednesday, 18 January at 11.30 am followed by a private family burial.

ELLENGER, Jennifer Margaret (Jenny)

My darling girl passed away on Friday, 6 January, 2023, aged 66 years.

Funeral Service

There will be a celebration of Jenny’s life and her faith in Jesus on Wednesday, 25 January at St Aubin’s Methodist Church at 2.30 pm, followed by a private committal.

Jenny’s life was full of love, she embraced every day with joy and every minute of them with love for others. It was a happy fulfilled life.
