AVERY, Robert (Bob)

Passed peacefully away at the St Joseph’s Care Home on Sunday, 13 April, 2025, aged 80 years, husband to the late Sue. He will be sadly missed by his loving daughters Nadine and Adele, their husbands Gary and Nigel and his grandchildren Dominic and Chantelle.

Nadine and Adele would like to thank all the staff at St Joseph’s for their care over the last few months.

A private family funeral will take place.

JAFFRELOT, John Henry

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, 13 April, 2025, aged 78 years, with his loving family by his side, much-loved husband to Janie, father to Lindy and Paul, father-in-law to Sue and Nigel, and adored Papa to Tiani.

THEBAULT, Carol Ann (née Edwards)

It is with much sadness that the family announce the death of Carol, age 86, on Monday, 7 April, 2025, in the loving care of Cheval Roc Nursing Home. She was the most wonderful, loving and inspirational wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral Service

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the celebration service for Carol’s life are warmly invited to meet in St Patrick’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, 29 April, at 11am, followed by a private cremation.

Christine and all the family would like to express their sincere gratitude to everyone who attended the service to commemorate and celebrate Brion’s life. We deeply appreciate the kindness of family, friends, and colleagues who sent cards, flowers, messages, and phone calls. Your support has meant so much to us. A special thank you to James Porter for officiating the service with such warmth and to Julian and his team at Maillards for managing the occasion with professionalism and kindness. We are also incredibly grateful to the staff at Lakeside Manor, whose compassion and dedication made the final part of Brion’s journey as gentle as possible for us all. Finally, our heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated to Dementia Jersey, a charity that works tirelessly to support those affected and their families at a time when help is so greatly needed.
