– Heather and Vic, Tina and Charles would like to thank all the family and friends who attended Doreen’s funeral, to those who sent cards and flowers, your telephone calls and prayers, as well as donations made to the London City Mission. Thank you to Brian Vibert for the lovely service and comforting words and also to his wife Hazel, to all the wonderful staff at Cambrette who looked after Mum with such care over the last few years, and also the loving staff at Lakeside where Mum spent her final few weeks. Special thanks to Doctor Philippa Venn for all her care and support, to Ken and the staff at De Gruchy’s Funeral Care for all their help, compassion and understanding at this emotional time.

It is with great regret that we learn of the passing of Jack Renault. He was a stalwart of the former Jersey Soccer League, having served in all of the official capacities. His knowledge of football was invaluable.
