SATCHWELL, Ronald George (Ronnie)

Sadly passed away on Thursday, 10 November, 2022, aged 86 years, after a long illness fought with much courage and strength. Dearly loved husband of Jackie for 68 years, loving father of Lita, Christopher and the late Robert, father-in-law to Dennis and Sharon, marvellous Papa to Sophie and Lewis and their partners Neil and Charlotte, adored great-Papa to Oliver and Emily. Will be greatly missed by all.

Funeral Service

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service for Ronnie are invited to meet at the Crematorium Chapel, Westmount Road, St Helier on Thursday, 1 December at 11.30 am.

Family flowers only.

Passed away at the General Hospital on Sunday, 6 November, 2022, aged 97 years, devoted Mum of Michael and his wife Rosemary, proud Grandma to Vicki and her husband Ben, and loving great-Grandma to Isla and Sophie.

Jean, Sue and all the family would like to thank everyone who attended Peter’s funeral and also for all the cards, flowers, gifts and messages of support shown to them. Special thanks to Dr Edelenbos of Lister Surgery for his care of Peter over many years and also to the district nurses, doctor and community nurses from Jersey Hospice whose care meant so much over the past 9 months, enabling Peter to remain at home with his family. Huge thanks also to Lynsey Mallinson for conducting such a personal service and for her compassion toward the family at such a sad time, and finally, many thanks to the team at De Gruchy’s Funeral Care.

DE CAEN, Ernest Hubert

Passed away peacefully in the excellent care of Cheval Roc Care Home on Saturday, 12 November, 2022, aged 93 years, husband of Daisy, father of Barry and Mandy.

Passed away in the care of Jersey Hospice on Sunday, 13 November, 2022, after a short illness, loving mother of Allan, Bryan and Anne, mother-in-law to Marie-Christine, grandmother and great-grandmother, cherished sister of Betty and Milly. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
