LE MAIN, Yvonne Josephine (née Anfray)

Passed away peacefully in the loving care of Silver Lea Care Home on Saturday, 17 May, 2025, at the age of 91, wife of the late Brian, adored Mum to Olly and Rose and Nan to Kyle, Kristan and Ryan. She will be sorely missed by all her family and friends.

We are deeply grateful for the incredible care, kindness, and love she received from the staff at Silver Lea and Silver Springs.

Will be forever loved and forever missed.

Funeral Service

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend the funeral service for Yvonne at 11.30 am on Wednesday, 11 June, at St Brelade’s Parish Church.

Smart casual with green if possible, her favourite colour.

Family flowers only please, but donations in lieu of flowers, in memory of Yvonne can be made to Jersey Hospice Care.

MATTHEWS, Richard

We are heartbroken to announce the death of Richard on Monday, 19 May, 2025, loving husband of Lorraine, proud father of Jack and Courtney and doting grandfather of Lily, Ivyrose and Arthur. Richard was an inspiration to many and will be terribly missed by us all.

WILSON, Robert (Bob)

Mari, Deborah and Andre, Chris and all the family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended Bob’s funeral. We deeply appreciate the kindness of family, friends and ex colleagues who sent flowers, cards and messages of condolence. A special thank you to the paramedics and police for their kindness and compassion, to Julian and the team at Maillards for the professional and caring way they handled the funeral arrangements and so much more, to Julie for officiating Bob’s funeral service with such warmth, to Keith from the Royal British Legion for his tribute ‘For the Fallen’ and to Sue for the beautiful family floral tributes. We are also incredibly grateful to Dr Sean Ryan and the staff at Route du Fort surgery for their care of Bob over the years. Finally, our thanks to everyone who may have donated to Holidays for Heroes in Bob’s memory, a charity which was close to his heart. Bob was a very special man who will always be sadly missed but the love and support we have been shown has been a great comfort to us all during this sad time.
