Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, 29 October, 2022, aged 75 years, beloved husband of Judith, loving father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

SHIELD, Karen Louise (known as Karrie)

The dear daughter of her late mother Joan and her father John, passed away peacefully on Thursday, 20 October, 2022, in the Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth, aged only 48 years and after long-term health issues which she bore so bravely. She was much loved for very many reasons and will be sorely missed by everyone including her stepmother Rachel, sister Tracy, nephew Oscar and her Auntie Anne and other family members, as well as several incredibly close friends and those she gained from her social activities and working career in England and Jersey, many of whom are from locations around the world.

Funeral Service

A celebration of her life, intended to match her style and wishes, will take place on Friday, 18 November at 1 pm at The Oaks Crematorium in Havant, Hampshire.

The family warmly invite people to attend, and to join them afterwards for afternoon tea.

Wear the brightest of colours please, and bring anything else that would have appealed to the Karrie they knew, including favourite teddies or similar, a bit of clown costume or anything else you wish.
