– Daphne, Julie and Paul wish to thank everyone who attended Carl’s funeral. Thanks also for all the cards, flowers and phone calls, all very much appreciated. Thanks to Rev Beverley Sproats for leading the service, to Barry de la Mare for the eulogy, to Connétable Andy Jehan for the poem, to Alan Mollet for playing the organ, and to the municipality for the guard of honour after the service. Thanks must also go to Rev Tracy Bromley and Emily Churchill for the committal at the crematorium, and finally but not least, thanks to Julian de la Cour and the staff at Maillards for all their help and support. We must also sincerely thank Royal Bournemouth Hospital, Jersey General Hospital, Family Nursing & Home Care and Jersey Hospice Care.

Sadly passed away at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford on Tuesday, 29 November, 2022, aged 51 years, beloved wife of Neil, beautiful daughter of Judy and John, and loving sister of Andrew. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

TEBBUTT, Harold Tregellis

Passed away peacefully at Les Charrières Residential Home on Friday, 2 December, 2022, aged 89 years, loving husband to the late Pat, beloved Dad to Sara and Karin, and a wonderful Poppa to his four grandchildren. He will be missed and always in our hearts.

THOW, John Arthur

Peacefully at home in Ayr on Friday, 2 December, 2022, surrounded by his family and after a brave fight, John aged 74 years. Much-loved father of John and James, father-in-law of Sam, brother of Louis, Douglas and Elizabeth, brother-in-law of Margaret and Van, and a much adored uncle of Richard, Katie and Jenny. A great friend to many.

Funeral will take place at Masonhill Crematorium, Ayr on Tuesday, 13 December at 3.30 pm.

BEATON, Daphne Eileen (née Garnier)

Passed peacefully on Sunday, 4 December, 2022, aged 87 years, loving wife of 66 years to Basil, mother to Carole and Kevin, mother-in-law to Jan and the late Bill, grandmother to Lucy, Hannah, James and Ryan, great-Granny to Amelie and Chloe. She will be sadly missed by all.
