PHILLIPPS, Brian Douglas

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, 1 October, 2022, aged 96 years, in the care of the staff at Silver Springs Care Home. A much-loved uncle, kind friend and neighbour. Bienfaiteur de la Société Jersiaise and a most generous benefactor to many charitable causes over many years in Jersey and abroad, founder member of the Jersey Cider Orchard Trust.

Brian will be missed by many but in accordance with his wishes, there will be no funeral or ceremony.

– Jean and family would like to thank all our friends who sent us kind and thoughtful cards and letters expressing their sympathy and sorrow on the loss of our beloved Mike. Dearly loved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is missed beyond measure.

BOUTELOUP, Yvonne Mary (née Hamon)

Passed away peacefully on Monday, 26 September, 2022, aged 91 years, wife of the late Albert (Bob), deeply loved mother of Carol, Sue and Cathy, mother-in-law of John, John and Tony, adored Gran of Claire, her husband Ben, Max and Oliver and great-Gran of Hayden. Will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

MORRIS, Janice Ann (née Carter)

Passed away aged 64 years on Wednesday, 28 September, 2022, at Joseph Weld Hospice after a short illness. Much loved and missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral Service

The funeral will take place on Friday, 14 October at Weymouth Crematorium Chapel followed by private interment.

MORRIS, Janice Ann (née Carter)

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of our dear Jan, youngest sister of Caryll and Sue, reunited with our parents Stanley and Hazel Carter. Loved and loving aunt of Alexa and Edward and great-aunt of Clara and Cameron.

We loved her dearly and will miss her greatly.

STEVEN, Robert Ian

Died peacefully aged 86 years on Saturday, 1 October, 2022, at Clifton Care Home. He follows his late wife Soula and son Peter and will be sadly missed by his surviving children Antonia, Nicholas, Marina and Alethea, and grandchildren Liam, Laura and Keren.

Former Managing Director of Ann Street Brewery, Gardien of Durrell and avid beekeeper, Ian lived life to its fullest.

WAYMOUTH, William Brinsley

Passed away peacefully at the Hospice with his family by his side after a short illness bravely borne, on Friday, 30 September, 2022, aged 63 years. Devoted and cherished husband of Juliet, wonderful Dad to Chris, father-in-law to-be to Melissa, much-loved son of Sarah and brother to Sally Ann, Robin and Mary. Taken far too young. Loved and missed by all his family and friends.

With tears we saw you suffer as we watched you fade away,

Our hearts were almost broken as you fought so hard to stay.

We knew you had to leave us, but you never went alone,

For part of us went with you, the day you left your home.
