Gav, it has been eleven years today since we lost you, but to us, it seems like only yesterday. We miss that happy, cheerful, bubbly, infectious character which has affected the lives of our family and friends considerably. And for a little man, you have left a big void that can’t be filled. But our loss is Heaven’s gain, and no doubt you are keeping them all amused up there!

You’re always in our thoughts and minds.

Passed away peacefully after a short illness on Friday, 25 July, 2025, aged 81 years, loving husband, father, grandfather, partner and friend. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

DOBBER, Helga (née Thiele)

Aged 86 years, Helga died on Monday, 4 August, 2025, at Cheval Roc Nursing Home.

The family want to thank all the staff at both Cheval Roc and Lavender Villa for their unwavering care, support and compassion.

Wife of Rob, who predeceased her this year and mother to Jan and Andy and grandmother to Tim, Lils, Olly, and Imi. She will be deeply missed by all her family.

Beloved son of Augusta Soares and the late João Soares, loving Dad, brother, uncle and cousin. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
