Died one year ago today.

Very sadly missed and remembered with love and pride by his wife Wendy, children Deryck, Michelle and Peter, and adored grandfather to his eight grandchildren.

ALDERSON, Michael Anthony

Passed away at the age of 69 years, a loving Dad to Nick and Zara and adored Poppa to Sadie and Hugo, Lexi and Molly. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Thea wishes to thank everyone who attended Brian’s funeral, sent cards, and donations. Over the past two years, I wish to thank the staff at Oncology, Dr. Richard Worth, and Family Nursing who all supported Brian throughout his brave fight. I also wish to thank the wonderful staff at Jersey Hospice and Rozel ward for caring for Brian during his final weeks, and the kind ladies from Positive Steps who cared for him at home. Thanks also to Evelyn, Brian’s sister, and my good friend Sue who supported us all in so many ways. Thanks too, to Gareth from Pitcher and Le Quesne for the arrangements and to Reverend Jenny Pathmarajah who conducted the service so aptly. Also many thanks to Maria for the reading and to Tom for the anecdotes. Finally I wish to thank Paul, Josie, Zoe,Tom and their families for their tremendous love and support throughout Brian’s illness, but especially during his final weeks and days with us. Brian would be so proud of you all.

BANKS, John Philip (Phil)

Passed away peacefully in the care of Jersey Hospice on Saturday, 11 June, 2022, aged 86 years, beloved husband of the late Maureen, much loved Dad to Christopher and Deborah, father-in-law to Joanne, and cherished Grandad to James, George and Harry and their respective girlfriends. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten by all who knew him.

A private family committal will take place.
