It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Iris, the first female Connétable of St Lawrence and also of our Island. She served for five terms (1984 to 2000) as Madame Connétable and before that one term as Parish Deputy.

Funeral Service

Past and present members of the Municipality who wish to attend the funeral service, please note it is to be held at St Helier Methodist Centre on Thursday, 18 August at 11 am.

We send our sincere sympathy to her family and friends; messages of condolence may be left at the Parish Hall.

Passed away on Thursday, 4 August, 2022, aged 85 years, beloved husband of the late Sadie, most loved and adored Dad to Celene, Davina and Damon, loving father-in-law to John and Deborah, and the best Papa to Patrick, Daniel, Carter and Quinlan.

Sadly passed away on Wednesday, 10 August, 2022, aged 88 years, beloved wife of the late John, loving Mum, Nan and great-Nan. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Passed away peacefully at Jersey General Hospital on Tuesday, 9 August, 2022, aged 81 years, much-loved Dad of Alex, father-in-law and grandfather. Reunited with his beloved wife Isabel. He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.
