DOUGHERTY, Christianne (née Hébert)

Our beloved sister who sadly passed away Thursday, 1 September, 2022.

Don’t think of her as gone away, her journey’s just begun.

Just think of her as resting, from the sorrows and the tears,

In a place of warmth and comfort, where there are no days or years.

Think how she must be wishing, that we could know today,

How nothing but our sadness, can really pass away,

And all the acts of kindness, will never melt away,

Especially for one like you sister, who was truly loved by all.

A heart of gold, a beautiful soul.

Will be sadly missed by Claude, Jean, Simone, Patricia, Marie, Monique and all the family.

COLLIN, Josephine Emily (née Monamy)

Passed away peacefully at Lakeside Care Home on Wednesday, 24 August, 2022, aged 93 years, now reunited with her beloved late husband Douglas.

PAYN, Sydney John (Syd)

Passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, 17 September, 2022, aged 84 years, whilst in the tender care of the staff at Les Hoûmets, devoted and loving father to Sue and Debbie, father-in-law to Andrew and Ian, grandfather to Josh and Hannah, great-grandfather to Ezra, and friend to many. Reunited with his wife Maggie after four years apart. Syd will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Syd’s funeral service will take place in St Martin’s Methodist Church on Thursday, 13 October at 11.30 am.
