Susan, Alison and families would like to thank everyone who attended Chris’s funeral, sent cards, messages of condolence and gave donations to the JSPCA. Thank you to Reverend Jenny Pathmarajah for conducting a beautiful light-hearted service. Our thanks to Alicia and all the staff at Maillards funerals for their support, kindness and professional handling of all the arrangements. Finally we would like to thank all our family, friends and work colleagues for their support through this difficult time.

It is with great sadness that Peter’s family have to announce his death on Monday, 4 April, 2022, in the comfort of his home, aged 86 years. Devoted husband for 62 years to Denize, adored father to Robert, Sandra and Stephen, grandfather to Leanna, Matthew, Rebecca, Courtney and Alexandra, also great-grandfather to Piper and Porter. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

– Grace, Rose and Mark Helie want to thank the many people who showed their support of Vernon during his life and of the family since his death. We want to thank First Medical, the district nurses, the Ambulance Service, LV Home Care, the heart failure home care team and others who helped in the last months. Huge thanks to those who visited, especially to Joan. Moving on to the funeral service we thank Revs Debbie and Derek Poole, organist Ian Macfeeters, the team at Philadelphie Messy Church Centre, Funeral Director Neil Dingle of De Gruchy’s Funeral Care, all those who attended the service, especially George and others who travelled to the Island, and all those who sent cards and messages, and made donations in memory of Vernon and showed their support in any way.
