It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Bernard, peacefully at home on Thursday, 7 April, 2022, father to Louise and Charlotte, grandfather of Léon, Ella, Alex, Harry and Arnie, and widower of Molly. A long life lived with love.

Passed away in the care of Jersey Hospice on Friday, 1 April, 2022, much-loved brother-in-law of Francis and the late Phyllis, Betty and Wilf, and Iris and the late John, and dearest uncle to their families.

– Cheryl, Niall and Tadhg wish to thank everyone for their support, cards and messages of sympathy and to all who attended Iain’s funeral. To Bishop Philip for travelling to Jersey to celebrate the mass, to Canon Dominic Golding, Fr Jacek and our Priests and Deacons for their unfailing love and attention to Iain these past months. Our grateful thanks to our GP Dr Brendan Loane, Mr Ajay Kumar and team, Mr Pierre Le Page and all the staff of A&E, AAU and in particular the nursing team on Rozel Ward led by Sister Jocelyn, of whom nothing was too much trouble.
