SAUSSEY, June

To my darling Mum who passed one year ago today.

My heart still aches with sadness, secret tears still flow,

What it means to lose you, no one will ever know.

And when anything goes wrong, I seem to hear you whisper,

‘Cheer up, my love, and carry on.’

Each time I look at your photo, you seem to smile and say,

‘Don’t cry dear daughter I’m only sleeping, we’ll meet again some day.’

Love you always Mum, miss you.

– From Margaret XXX.
