– Joan and family wish to thank everyone who attended John’s funeral, and who sent their condolences and well wishes at this sad time. Our thanks also to the Reverend Canon Paul Brooks for his comforting service and kind and reassuring words to Pat’s family and friends at this sad time. Also thanks to the singing group, keyboard player, and organist for the beautiful singing and playing, and to Andy and Stephen for their scripture reading and tributes to Pat’s life, and anyone who helped in any way. Our sincere thanks to all the carers and doctors who nursed and cared for Pat with love and compassion over four years, enabling her to stay at home till the end of her life when she passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family. Finally, to Mr Julian de la Cour and his team from Maillards for their dedicated care and professional funeral arrangements, and to Holme Grown after the funeral service for the reception to celebrate Pat’s life.
