Passed peacefully away after a short illness, aged 79 years, beloved wife of Derek and loving Mum to Ivor and Denise. She will be greatly missed.

VINEY, Sarah (Ethel)

Passed away peacefully in the loving care of Le Petit Bosquet Nursing Home on Monday, 7 March, 2022, in her 98th year, adored mother and mother-in-law to Mark, Marjorie and Craig, Pam and Chris, Stephen and Lisa, Martin and Kay. Such a loving grandmother to Samuel, Alex, Oliver and Matthew, Hugo and Antoine, Jonathan and Vicki. Sarah will be deeply missed by all her family, extended family and many friends.

Funeral Service

Relatives and friends wishing to attend a service to celebrate the life of Sarah are invited to meet at the Crematorium Chapel, Westmount Road, St Helier on Tuesday, 29 March at 1 pm.

HORTON, Audrey Constance (née Smith).

Simon, Mathew and family would like to thank everyone who attended Audrey’s funeral at St Ouen’s Parish Church, and also anyone who was unable to attend the service. Special thanks to Julian and his staff at Maillards for their kindness and professionalism, and sincere thanks to Brian Vibert for conducting the service as well as David Capps for the Bible reading. Finally, a big thank you to Mark and his staff for putting on the wake at the Sir George Carteret.

Ann and Ian would like to thank their family and friends and all those who attended Trevor’s funeral. The great many cards and letters of condolence and tributes to Trevor have been overwhelming. A very special thanks to the Reverend Martin Evans for conducting the memorable service, Julian and his team at Maillards for their professional and compassionate help in all aspects of the arrangements, and the wonderful music from Clive Cooper and the Choir. Such a wonderful celebration of Trevor’s life. Thanks to the paramedics, doctors and nurses in A&E, and Dr Jessica Vaz and all the wonderful and dedicated ward staff who cared for Trevor in his final days. Also a very big thank you to both the Mens and Ladies captain, all the committee members and everyone at St Clement’s Golf Club for all their kindness and support. Everything was a fitting tribute to a very special man.

BROUARD, Sally (née Gilbert)

Passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, 3 March, 2022, aged 84 years, beloved wife of Robert, mother to Marc and Susy, and grandmother to Raffy and Annie.

The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to the carers from Gentle Care Ltd who have lovingly looked after Sally over the last few years.

The funeral mass for Sally will take place on Friday, 25 March at 11.30 am at St Bernadette’s Catholic Church, St Brelade, followed by private cremation.
