Passed away on Wednesday, 15 January, 2025, aged 95 years, wife of the late William (Bill), former Chief Officer, States Fire Service, Mum to Steve, mother-in-law to Angela, grandmother to Kitty, Matthew and Jakob, great-grandmother to Mia and Leo. Will be missed by family in Canada.

Michael, Peter, Kevin and Alison would like to give their heartfelt thanks to all who attended Doreen’s celebration of life, despite the awful weather, those who sent cards of condolence and gave donations to the chosen charities. Grateful thanks to all the healthcare professionals that have looked after Mum so well over the years, in particular the dedicated and amazing Cate Goode. Special thanks to Reverend Tracy Le C Bromley for her kindness and for conducting such a meaningful service and to Audrey Tupper for playing the organ so beautifully. Passed away on Wednesday, 15 January, 2025, in Malta, after a short illness.

He lived and worked in Jersey for many years at the Jersey Woollen Mill.

He will be sadly missed.

RODGERS, Annie (formerly Bailey) (née Davey)

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Annie on Friday, 20 December, 2024, adoring mother of Sacha and Emily, cherished sister of Linda, loving aunt to Jessica and Bianca. Her courage, strength and sense of humour will be missed by so many.
