My dearest Peggy Ann, passed away on 25 December, 2016.
What would I give to see you smile,
To sit and talk with you awhile,
To be together in the same old way,
Would be my dearest wish today.

Mum, my queen, I gave you plenty of flowers in your garden. When you are up in heaven, just have a good rest and watch the world go by because you my queen, have not had a lot of rest or peace in these seven or so years.
I am quite good in the kitchen, made you some lovely Sunday roast dinners, cakes, Jersey wonders, rock cakes and queen cakes for my queen.
You kept saying ‘son they are very qood with our cups of tea’.
Mum, when you see Christine and Derek say hi for me as we four will be together some day.
RIP Mum.
– Your broken-hearted son Bryan xxx.
PS. Also love from all your friends at La Jardin de la Rue xx.
