CHANDLEN, Dulcie

Dulcie’s family would like to thank everyone who attended her funeral mass and wake and those who sent cards, messages and donations. Thanks also go to Canon Dominic for a beautiful service which followed Dulcie’s wishes, to Michael Hutchings for his lovely rendition of ‘Born Free’, to organist Alan Mollet and to the Funeral Choir. We should also like to thank Dr Loane and the staffs of the General Hospital and St Ewold’s Residential Home for the wonderful care Mum received. Also, a big thank you to Julian, Maria and all the team at Maillards for fulfilling all Dulcie’s wishes for her funeral and finally to Lauren and staff at The Royal, St Martin.

BRIANT, Joyce

Passed peacefully away in the loving care of Maison St Brelade with her daughters by her side on Friday, 6 December, 2024, in her 104th year.

Safely in the arms of her late husband Frank, loving mother of Trish and Julie, much-loved mother-in-law of Tony, Grandma to Damian and Amanda, Simon and Ali, Jack and Louise, Cole and Hannah, Great Grandma to Joel, Lily-Ella, Fabian, Sammy, Jonah, Reid and Mylo. Joyce will be greatly missed by all her family.

CRONIN, John Joseph

I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to the many friends that attended the celebration of John’s life recently. He would have loved that so many of his friends, both old and new were there. I am extremely grateful to Mickey, John, Chris and Helen who all spoke so well during the service. I would also like to express my thanks to the all our friends who sent condolence cards, made donations, sent flowers, emails, texts, telephoned, kept me going with food supplies and cooked dinners, where would I be without my besties! Special thanks to the nursing staff at Jersey Hospice who looked after John, and me, so lovingly during his last days. A special mention also to Julie Jones of the Hospice who took time to visit us at home every day prior to John’s admittance. Thanks to Shane Hatherley of De Gruchy’s Funeral Directors for his time and patience in getting every detail perfect, which it was. Thanks to Deacon Flaxman for his beautiful service at St Thomas’. Finally, thank you to Francisco and his team at Bacchus who looked after everyone so well after the service. As I said, John would have loved it. Thank you one and all.

Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, 30 November, aged 89 years, beloved mother of Rona, John and the Late Tom, loving mother-in-law to Roy, Jill and Aly. Loving Gran and Gee-Gee.

A private burial will follow.

We are sad to announce the death of Joy, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and good friend to many, who passed away peacefully on Friday, 6 December, 2024 at Sandybrook Nursing Home. She will be missed, remembered and loved always by her children Yvonne, Bryn, Janine, their spouses Richard and Tina, her grandchildren Leigh, Becky, Amy, Jennifer, Kelly, Daniel, Laura, Dean, Shane, Scott and her 23 greatgrandchildren.

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, 5 December, 2024, aged 59 years, with Danny by her side. Beloved daughter of the late Maureen and Geoff Le Feuvre. Will be sadly missed by her sister, Nicky, her family and many friends in Jersey, India, Thailand, and the UK.

A private cremation has taken place in Goa.
