Passed away peacefully at the General Hospital on Wednesday, 26 January, 2022, aged 85 years, beloved husband of Beryl, on their 61st Wedding Anniversary, and much loved by his son Lee and the late Andrew.

HAMON, Rosel Florence (née Huelin)

Passed away peacefully after a short illness at the Jersey General Hospital on Sunday, 30 January, 2022, aged 80 years, loving wife of the late Laurence, stepmother to Jacqui, Richard and Nicki, loving sister to Douglas, Christine and Elizabeth. She will be greatly missed by all her family and her friends and carers at La Haule Care Home.

Funeral Service

Rosel’s funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 15 February at 11.30 am in the Crematorium Chapel.

No mourning clothes by request.

– Marlene and Chris would like to thank their family and friends who telephoned, sent cards, flowers and messages in relation to the sudden passing of Aunty. Also to all those who attended the service and gave donations to Jersey Hospice Care. Thank you to Father Paul, Deacon David and Deacon Brendan for conducting the lovely service, Aunty would have approved, and to Clive Cooper for playing the organ and the choir from St Matthieu’s for their wonderful singing. Gerry for the reading and Marian of Oasis Flowers for the beautiful floral tribute. A big thank you to all of Aunty’s friends for all they have done for her over the years, we really appreciate it. Thanks also to the paramedics who attended to Aunty at home, and the doctors and nurses in A&E and AAU, and to Dr Fullerton who looked after Aunty for many years, and all at Health Plus, the Honorary Police of St Lawrence and the sexton. Finally, thanks to Mark Burke and his team at Maillards for all their advice and help in all aspects of the arrangements which were done so professionally.

– Mary and Paul would like to thank family and friends for the many cards, flowers and phone messages received. Also special thanks to all who attended Mum’s funeral, she had a great send off. Sincere thanks to all the staff at L’Hermitage for their kindness and excellent care they gave Mum for the past three years.
