BUESNEL, Gary (Bugsy)

Due to Covid restrictions at the time of his death, Gary had a private funeral service.

A memorial service for Bugsy will now take place at 1 pm on Saturday, 30 October at St Martin’s Roman Catholic Church.

BURROWS, Derek

Sadly passed away on Sunday, 17 October, 2021, aged 82 years, reunited with his beloved wife Pam after only a short time apart. A wonderful Dad to Jaison, Julie and Justin, father-in-law of Colin and Marisa, and much-loved Grandad of Adam and Emma.

MCCALL, George

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, 14 October, 2021, in the care of Jersey Hospice with his family by his side, loving father of Jilly Ann, cherished Papa of Sol and Lola, father-in-law of Ian, and special person to Audrey and Luke.

He saw you were getting tired, a cure was not to be.

So He put His arms around you and whispered ‘Come to me’.

With tearful eyes we watched you suffer, and saw you fade away,

Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes ‘the best’.

Funeral Service

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service for George are invited to meet at the Crematorium Chapel, Westmount Road, St Helier on Thursday, 4 November at 1 pm.

VINCENT, Dorothy Frances

Died on Friday, 15 October, 2021, aged 84 years, sister of Margaret and sister-in-law of Roger. She will be missed by her family and friends in Jersey and in Oxford.

Dorothy’s funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 2 November at the Jersey Crematorium, commencing at 2.30 pm.
