CHURCHILL, Marilyn (Mal)

In loving memory of my dear Mum who passed 5 July, 2020.

Not a day passes by Mum, that you don’t cross my mind,

Not all of you departed when you left us behind.

For in my heart there is a place only you can hold,

Filled with our loving memories which I treasure always.

I know that you still hear me Mum, so know that this is true,

That everything I am today, is all because of you.

Love and miss you always.

– Samantha xxx.

BARETTE, Eileen (Nan and Granny)

Though her smile is gone forever, and her hand we cannot touch,

We still have so many memories, of the one we love so much.

Her memory is now our keepsake, which we will never part,

God has her in his keeping, we have her in our hearts.

Thank you for your love, support, endless laughs and sneezes.

– Joanna, Philip, Leah and Bethany xx.

Special thanks go to Nat and John for their unwavering love, support and help through this very difficult time, and also to Carlo who has been a rock to us both – thank you for everything. To Pam and Morris, thank you. To the very special staff at Maison St Brelade and St Joseph’s care homes – you are all angels and deserve enormous recognition for the incredible work you do 24/7. To Dr Soomal and his wonderful team on the Oncology unit, Jersey Hospice and the out of hours team – thank you for your support at the end. To all who attended both funerals, thank you for coming, and to the family who managed to come for Dad’s funeral. To Delta who organised the live stream for Mum’s funeral. To Father John Mundackial and Deacon Brendan Flaxman, thank you so much for conducting such a fitting tribute to Mum, and to Deacon Brendan for Dad’s service. It was just what he would have wanted and you have been a great support. To Gareth, Darren and the amazing team at Pitcher & Le Quesne – the respect, empathy and kindness you all showed us is something we will always be grateful for. To Magda at Woodside for providing the beautiful flowers, and to Nat who worked so hard arranging all the floral tributes. To all our friends, family and colleagues who have sent gifts, cards, flowers, messages and made phone calls. All have been very much appreciated and your support has given us strength.
