LE BRUN, Cyril (Syd) – Jan and family wish to thank everyone who attended Syd’s funeral at Holy Trinity Church on 12 November in person or virtually, Rev. Geoff Houghton for leading the celebration of Syd’s life, organist Nick Cabot and the choir for their beautiful musical contributions, and Carol’s Florist for the wonderful floral tribute. Our appreciation to all at Maillards, and particularly to Mark Burke for his professional help and kindness, and also to Holme Grown Farm Shop Café for the delicious food served at the wake. It was a fitting tribute to Syd to see so many family members and friends at the service. We are grateful also for the many cards, flowers and messages received, and for the donations sent to the two selected charities.

Thanks go to Dr Mattock and past staff at the General Hospital, the Lido Medical Practice and Family Nursing & Home Care for caring for Syd over so many years. Also, to the ICU who cared for Syd and close family during his last few days.
