PATTERSON, Margaret Adeline (née Le Guyader).

– Margaret’s family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who sent flowers, condolence cards, messages, phone calls of support and for those who gave so generously to the RNLI and JSPCA charities, which Margaret chose in lieu of flowers. For Julian De La Cour and his professional team at Maillards, you were amazing. Having to organise a funeral during a pandemic was no mean feat but we are all so grateful to your attention to every detail. Thank you to DJ Nelson for recording and live streaming Margaret’s funeral mass which enabled her family and friends across the globe to join us. For the 40 people who were permitted to attend Margaret’s celebration of her life at St Thomas’s RC Church, we all appreciated your support. For Canon Dominic Golding and the Deacon’s pastoral support and assistance, we thank you, and to both Deacons Iain MacFirbhisigh and Tony Ward who conducted such a beautiful mass. This was so comforting and we are truly grateful. To Malcom Lamy (organist) and Simone Garton (soloist). The singing you recorded together and played for us was incredible and sounded like a live performance; remarkable. To florists Simon Thomas and Nigel Gates. Margaret’s family funeral flowers which she had chosen were breath-taking and exactly how she wanted them to be. To the dedicated team at Les Hoûmets. You are all angels and for the way you cared for Margaret and supported our family these past four years, we are indebted to you. For Doctors Henry Paul, Mike Winspear, Nigel Minihane and all the team at Castle Quay Medical Practice, plus all the continued support from allied health professionals within the community and General Hospital, we thank you all. Once restrictions have eased, at Margaret’s request we shall have a celebration of her life at the Hotel Ambassadeur where we can remember a beautiful lady who loved everyone and is deeply missed.
