Dear son of Christine and brother of Tony and Trevor.
The sea is calm tonight, the tide is full, the moon lies fair, up in the sky,
I must go back out to the sea again, the lonely sea and sky, all I ask is a tall ship and a star to stir her by.
How strangely still the water is tonight.
Rest in peace.
Love always.

God grant that I may live to fish, until my dying day,
And when it comes to my last cast, I then most humbly pray.
When in the Lord’s safe landing net, I’m peacefully asleep,
That in his mercy I be judged, as big enough to keep.

My beloved friend,
It’s just a little, but means a lot, to say dear friend that I haven’t forgot,
No farewell words were spoken, and no time to say goodbye,
You were gone before we knew it and only God can tell us why.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone,
For part of me went with you the day God called you home.
– Love always, from Audrey, John and family XXXX.
