AHIER, Charles Edward (Charlie)

Passed away peacefully on Monday, 29 March, 2021, aged 73 years, loving husband of Rose, proud Dad of Charles, Phil and Claire, father-in-law of Tiago and Brian, adoring Papa of Lydia and Oscar, and devoted son of Dulcie and the late Charles Binet. Man of the Earth and seasons, horse driver, football fanatic and animal lover, especially of his faithful Jack Russells. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

AHIER, Charlie

RRFC are saddened to hear of the passing of Charlie Ahier.

Charlie played a huge part in Rozel’s success. He helped to put the club where it is today, as a player, junior manager, committee member, vice-president and then president for 11 years.

He will be greatly missed by all at Rozel.

BLAMPIED, Barry John

Passed away peacefully at home with his loving family at his side, after a short illness bravery borne on Thursday, 1 April, 2021, aged 87 years. Beloved husband of 63 years to Gwen, devoted Dad to Tina, Mandy and Terry, father-in-law to Paul, Dave and Debs, adored Pops to Stephanie Ricky, Natalie, Lucy, Benjamin, Dwayne and his wife Natasha, loving great-Grandad to Ebony, Jessica and Alexander. He will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched – Abétôt.

Passed away peacefully in the tender care of Jersey Hospice on Wednesday, 31 March, 2021, aged 68 years, much-loved Dad of Steve and Joanne. He will be greatly missed by all his brothers and sisters and their families.

CUDLIPP, Christine May (née Le Brun)

Passed away peacefully in the tender care of Pinewood Residential Home on Wednesday, 31 March, 2021, in her 92nd year. Wife of the late Roy, beloved mother of Sheila, Simon, Jenny, Chris and Michelle, Mommen of Ryan, Annie, Ramsay, Harriet, Susan, Ella and Katie, great-grandmother of six small boys. Christine will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

MAY, George Paul

The Connétable, Procureurs, St Brelade Honorary Police and past and present members of the Municipality are saddened at the recent passing of George May, a former Parish Centenier and devoted servant to the Parish.

We all send our sincere condolences to Anne and all the family for their loss but we thank both George and Anne for the time they entrusted to the Parish working with several connétables.
