HARRISON, Peter (Pete).

Lost his life in the Boxing Day Tsunami in 2004, aged 46 years. A Liverpudlian and Everton supporter, Jersey had been his home for more than 20 years.

Workmate and friend of the ‘Three Ds’, John and Alan.

His life is remembered in Allix’s Shipbuilding Park at Havre des Pas.

Missed by friends in Jersey and the UK.

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, 27 December, 2024, aged 76, in the wonderful care of Les Charrieres Care Home, loving wife of David for 49 years, mother of Drew and Claudette, mother-in-law to Phil and Steph and Nanny to Kalem, Jake and Rylee.

BASSFORD, Valerie Claire (née Howard).

Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, 15 December, 2024, aged 96, beloved widow of Maurice, loving mother of Tim, Fiona and Kate, treasured mother-in-law to Yan-Yan, Mike and Mo, and grandmother of Daniel, Emily and Claudia. Valerie will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
