Died peacefully on Monday, 6 September, 2021, in the loving care of Maison St Brelade Care Home, he was deeply loved by his wife Barbara, daughters Jane and Sara and grandchildren Charlotte, Megan and Patrick. He will be sadly missed by his family and all his friends.

TOMES, Marguerite Amelia (née Bailhache)

Sadly passed away on Saturday, 28 August, 2021, at the General Hospital, aged 85 years, wife of the late Leonard, mother of Jeremy and Virginia, mother-in-law of Tina and Jim, grandmother of Jack, Jessica and Caitlin.

A private cremation has already taken place, honouring Marguerite’s wishes.

Steve, James and Matthew would like to thank everyone who attended Marianne’s funeral service, sent cards or messages, and those who made donations in her memory to Jersey Cancer Relief. Many thanks to Rev. Geoff Houghton for leading a lovely, moving service. Special thanks go to the medical professionals – Dr. Jon Newstead at IMC, all at the JGH Oncology Unit and, in her final days at home, the Hospice Palliative team and District Nurses who all provided help and support for Marianne and the family. Finally, many thanks to Gary Tye of De Gruchy’s Funeral Care for his compassion and professionalism in making all the arrangements for the funeral service.

L’ENFANT, Patricia (née Maguire) (Pat)

Sadly passed away on Wednesday, 1 September, 2021, aged 88 years, loving wife of Richard (Paddy) for 66 years, much-loved Mum of Elaine, adored Gran to Anthony and Lisa and great-Nan to Charlie and Bobbie. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

My darling Rich passed away at Sandybrook on Thursday, 2 September, 2021, aged 79 years, beloved Dad of Nicky and father-in-law of Mark.
