MCDONALD, Jacqueline (née McGlinchey)

Passed away at Jersey General Hospital after a short illness on Tuesday, 12 October, 2021, aged 71 years, daughter of the late Michael and Enid, a much-loved mother of Theresa and Toby. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Passed away peacefully at the General Hospital on Friday, 1 October, 2021, aged 94 years, devoted husband to Pat, a much-loved father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

– Susan, Martyn, Nigel and Paula would like to thank all those who attended our Mum’s beautiful funeral service led by Canon Dominic. We would also like to thank Paul and staff from Pitcher & Le Quesne and especially Vicky and her amazing team who cared for Mum during her last days.

– Eunice’s family wish to thank everyone who attended her funeral service, it was very comforting to see so many family and friends there. Many thanks to all who sent cards, letters, messages, flowers and donations to Jersey Hospice Care and Cancer Relief Jersey in Mum’s memory. Special thanks to Dr Adella Sutton and her colleagues at Cleveland Clinic, Dr Dos Santos of Oncology, the caring staff at Nightingales Care Agency, Family Nursing & Home Care, Lorraine Dyer and the team at Jersey Hospice Care, and also to Cancer Relief Jersey for their support. Our thanks to Rev Debbie Poole who conducted a wonderful service to celebrate Mum’s life, organist Alan Mollet and St Ouen’s Ladies Choir for singing the hymns with such enthusiasm. Thanks also to Shane Hatherley from De Gruchy’s Funeral Care for his kindness and professional help with the funeral arrangements. Finally, thank you to Ivor Barette for taking Mum to her final resting place in such style.

– Dean, Ian, Gail and Shane would like to thank everyone who attended the funeral service at St Clement’s Parish Church, and to those who sent cards and letters of condolence after the sad and tragic loss of their Mum. A special thank you to Reverend Canon David Shaw for conducting a memorable service, and to the church secretary, choir and Michael Le Jehan for their support. A special thank you to Dr Henry Juchniewiez for his care and friendship of Mum over the years, and to Dr Jilesh Chohan and all the staff at Cleveland Clinic.
