SHIELD, Joan Valerie.

– Following the funeral last Thursday, which perfectly celebrated Joan’s life, her family would like to give thanks to the Reverend Canon David Shaw for his caring attention to our wishes and to Julian and his Maillards team for their incredibly sensitive and professional services and extend our gratitude to all who have sent kind messages of condolences and support, attended the funeral and made donations to Macmillan Cancer Support.

PATTERSON, Margaret Adeline (née Le Guyader)

Passed away peacefully surrounded by love at Les Hoûmets in Gorey Village on Wednesday, 10 March, 2021, aged 85 years. Formerly a much-respected resident at Captain’s Cabin, 23 Beaulieu Park for 60 years. Devoted wife and soul mate to the late Jack, beloved mother to Paul David and Caroline, grandmother to Nick and Chantelle, mother-in-law to Dorothy and Denis, and great-grandmother ‘Margy’ to Joe, Tom and their mother Helen. A truly inspirational and much-loved lady who lived each day as a gift and blessing. Her beautiful smile warmed everyone’s hearts.

Funeral Service

Sadly, due to Covid restrictions, a private funeral will be held at St Thomas’ Church.

Passed away on Saturday, 6 March, 2021, aged 65 years, loving Dad, partner and brother. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
