– Bill, Tony, Dina and families would like to thank everyone who attended Mum’s funeral, for all your cards, letters and calls we have received on the sad passing of our Mum. Our special thanks to Andrea, Isobel and all staff at Glanville Care Home for your love, care and dedication shown to Mum and the family at all times, so much so Mum chose to return back to Glanville to end her days. We will always be grateful to you all. To Drs Nigel Stevens and Dr Chris Cook, to the staff on Bartlett Ward, Jersey Hospice and Family Nursing for making Mum comfortable. Huge thanks to Father Nick Barry who we cannot thank enough from St Luke’s Church where Mum loved attending, for the endless visits to Mum throughout, for the mass service and a beautiful funeral service, also the scattering of Mum’s ashes. Thanks to Mary Osmond for the reading, St Luke’s Choir and Malcolm the organist, and finally, to Paul Battrick MBE and staff from Pitcher & Le Quesne, Mum was ready for you in the end. Paul you did Mum proud, and stopping at Glanville on the way to the crematorium so the staff and residents could say their farewells, that pulled at the heart strings, thank you to you all.
Mum will be truly missed, may she rest in peace, and finally to those who kindly sent donations in Mum’s memory to the Jersey Lifeboat Association, a big thank you.
