I would like to thank Reverend Henry Le Ruez who conducted the funeral, the doctors, the management and staff at Silver Springs Care Home for their care and support, and thanks also to Maillards Funeral Directors for arranging all aspects of the funeral arrangements. Thank you to Neil and Tracey Vallois, and Peter and Nicholas Snell for their support, and all family and friends who attended the funeral.

Parting comes and hearts are broken,

Loved ones go with words unspoken.

I miss you more than anyone knows,

As time goes by, the emptiness grows.

The tears shed are wiped away,

But the ache in my heart is here to stay.

Rest in peace my angel.

BARETTE, Joan (née Le Feuvre)

Passed peacefully away on Friday, 6 November, 2020 at Jersey Hospice Care.

God saw you were getting tired and a cure was not to be,

So He put His arms around you and whispered ‘Come to me.’

With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away,

Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest,

God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.

So sadly missed by her loving daughter June and family, Steve, Harrison, Emily and Georgia.

Now reunited with her beloved husband Tubby.

Rest in peace.

A wonderful grandmother to Harrison and Emily, who she did so much for and who loved her beyond measure.

She will be forever in our hearts.
