Passed away peacefully on Thursday, 15 May, 2025, in her 94th year. Wife to the late Leslie Donald Tirel. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Sincere thanks to Dr Francine Le Neveu and all the staff at St Joseph’s Residential Home for the wonderful care given to her. Special thanks to Helen Higginson and Alan Mollet for making the service such a lovely celebration and to all those who attended the service and joined us at Greenhills afterwards to share your own memories. Our thanks, also, to Carmelita and her team at Greenhills for the afternoon tea which we know Val would really have enjoyed. Passed away at La Haule Care Home on Wednesday, 23 April, 2025, much-loved and best friend to the late Barry, her husband of 44 years. Sorely missed by her family and friends in Jersey and UK.
