TAYLOR, Alexander.

– Ina, Karon, Laurie and family would like to thank everyone for their flowers, cards and kind words following Alex’s death. We know he was thought highly of. Also, thanks to all who attended his funeral, it meant a lot. Thanks also to Graeme Glover for the lovely service and burial, to De Gruchy’s Funeral Care for their help and guidance with the arrangements, and a special thanks to Fatima and all at Orchid Care, who were with him until the end and built up such a good rapport with him. Finally, thanks to Family Nursing & Home Care and Parkinson’s for all their support, all donations to Parkinson’s were gratefully received.

It has been 30 years, you have missed so much.

Gav, we are all thinking about you on your birthday, a special day we know that you would have enjoyed, but sadly we can’t celebrate this day with you.

We all miss your bubbly, cheerful character and wicked sense of humour. The place is certainly a lot quieter without you.

You’ll never be forgotten and will always be in our hearts and minds.

We will all raise a glass of Coke (!) especially for you.

BLAMPIED Barry John

Gwen, Tina, Mandy and Terry and their families would like to say a heartfelt thank you for all the cards, flowers, visits and donations to Family Nursing and Cancer Relief in Barry’s memory. A big thank you to Dr Bonn, Dr Scaife, nurses from Family Nursing and Lorraine. We would also like to thank Paul Battrick and Jonny Green for their compassion, professionalism and support and to everyone who attended Barry’s funeral and for Rev Tony Morling for such a touching service.

BLAMPIED, Florence Joan (Joan)

28.05.1935 – 19.04.2021.

Joan died suddenly and unexpectedly at home on Monday, 19 April, 2021, wife of the late Brian Blampied, mother of Paul and Michelle, mother-in-law to Jane and Paul, Grandma to Samantha, Emmie and Katie. Joan will be greatly missed by her family, friends and by her beloved dog Seiko.

No flowers please.

PINEL, Edward Upex

A much-loved brother of the late Denis, brother-in-law and dear uncle, we will miss you.

FINLAY, David (Sir) (Bt)

Died suddenly in Jersey on Saturday, 17 April, 2021, dearly beloved husband of Camilla, devoted father to Tristan and Jemima and much-loved son, brother, uncle and friend to many. So very missed already.

Private funeral.

A celebration will be advised in due course.
