WALMSLEY, Joan Margaret (née Forshaw)

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, 26 November, 2020 in her 86th year, beloved wife of Ray, devoted Mum to Samantha, Sara and Lucia, now reunited with Nanny and Grandad.

You were so strong and brave, we love and miss you every day and you will be in our hearts forever.

Rest now in Heaven xxxx.

The family of Joan would like to thank all those who were able to attend the celebration of Joan’s life, also the kind people who sent cards, messages of condolence, flowers or donations in Joan’s memory to Jersey Hospice Care. Special thanks also to the wonderful doctors and nurses at Jersey Hospice and in Bartlett Ward and to Rev Nico Hilmy-Jones and Rev Dawn Saunders for the beautiful funeral service.

TAYLOR, Maureen Christine.

Janice would like to thank those who were able to attend Maureen’s funeral service, and family, friends and neighbours who made phone calls, sent cards, messages of condolence and flowers. A special thank you to the paramedics who made such a valiant effort when they attended Maureen. Thank you to Derek Egre for reading the eulogy and the Rev Phil Warren for such a beautiful service. An extra special thank you to Lindy and the staff at Fig Tree House for their dedicated care and support they gave to Maureen over the last four years. Also thank you to Mark Burke of Maillards for his kindness, support and professionalism throughout, and to Ffi at Bella Fiori for the beautiful floral arrangements.

Eileen, Luke, Jay, Kim Jeanette and all of the family would like to express our grateful thanks to all those who attended Garrys funeral service. Passed away peacefully at home in Dorset on Tuesday, 17 November, 2020, beloved husband to Carole and much-loved father to Vicky and James, father-in-law to Neil and Allison and Popa to Eleanor, Jemma, Haydn, Bryce and Ben. He will be missed greatly.

Passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon, on Sunday, 15 November, 2020, in the presence of her husband, after a short, unanticipated illness courageously borne. Loving and beloved wife of David (Devizes), and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Emma and Allan Hoffman (Philadelphia) and Kimberley and Andrew Higham (Devizes) and grandmother of Henry and Louis (Philadelphia) and Sam and Isabelle (Devizes). Much-loved sister and sister-in-law of Sean and Marilyn McPherson of Omokoroa, Marie-Louise and Michael Ongley of Palmerston North and Rod and Anne Hull of Pukekawa.

A private family funeral will held in Devizes.

At a later date, an online celebration of her life will be circulated among her family and the many friends she made along her journey.

SUFFOLK, Cynthia

Passed away peacefully at the General Hospital on Monday, 2 November, 2020, aged 90 years, dearest cousin to Pamela, and deeply missed by her nephew Neill and niece Beverley, she was so fond of them both.

Derrick, Karen, Nicky, Lawrence and Brooke Slatter would like to say a huge thank you for the care, understanding and support over the loss of Joyce. To Andy Errington-Rennell from Pitcher & Le Quesne for his guidance and assistance in planning and carrying out a very beautiful funeral fitting of a lady such as Joyce. Rev Mark Bond for a beautiful service celebrating Joyce’s life, and to all who attended Joyce’s funeral. Last of all but importantly, to Dr Julie Le Cornu, Sandra, Angela and Maria for giving Joyce the quality of life whilst still being in her own home.
