HOUZÉ, Hélène Odette. – André, Carolyne and families would like to express their heartfelt thanks to family and friends who attended Hélène’s funeral, for the many cards, messages and flowers we received, and to those who kindly donated to Diabetes Jersey and Jersey Alzheimer’s. Many thanks to Father Matthew for the beautiful funeral service, and special thanks to Katherine for reading the words of remembrance, we were all so proud of you. Sincere thanks to Neil Dingle and staff at De Gruchy’s Funeral Care for their compassion and understanding in arranging Hélène’s funeral, and finally, special thanks to the amazing staff at Lakeside Manor for giving Hélène such love, care and support during her last seven years.

HICK, Nancy

Passed away peacefully at St Joseph’s Care Home on Tuesday, 2 March, 2021, aged 94 years, devoted wife of the late Dr Brian Hick, adored and loving Mum of Paul, David, Julie, Christine, Peter, Sarah and Richard, very much-loved Granny to her 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. A remarkable and inspirational lady who will be greatly missed and always remembered.

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 23 February, 2021, in his 88th year. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 62 years Hilary (nèe L’Amy), will be much-missed by his four children Julie, Glenn, Darin, Dale, and his seven much-loved grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, not forgetting his two daughters-in-law and his son-in-law.
