Nicola sadly passed away peacefully on the 1st of July 2020. She was cared for by all the staff at Jersey Hospice. Nicola’s family and friends would like to say a big thank you to all the staff at Hospice for caring for Nicola during her time there.

Nicola’s family would also like to thank the Reverend Tony Morling, of St Helier Methodist Centre, for his moving service, Fiona Waite for her reading of her girls memories and Will Burns for his poem dedicated to Nicola. Thanks too to Pitcher & Le Quesne for all there help in organising the service and laying to rest a much loved Wife, Mother, Daughter and Sister.

Lovely memories of Nicola will be in all our thought and hearts forever. God bless you my darling.

Passed peacefully away on Friday, 21 August, 2020, after a short illness bravely borne, in the loving care of Jersey Hospice. Beloved husband and best friend of Pam for 47 years, loving brother and brother-in-law to Mervyn and Gail, and uncle to his nieces Kim, Jamie and Quinn. He will be sadly missed by his loving family and many friends.

Barbara, Sarah, Rachel, Joanna and Andrew would like to send their heartfelt thanks for all the heartfelt messages and cards, and for the support following our Dad’s passing. Due to the current situation, we had a small and private service, we wish to thank those who attended. Thank you to Reverend Sally Wheadon who undertook the service which was heartfelt and personal to us, thank you to the medical team especially Dr K Pai, Dr Duku, and thanks also to Portelet Ward staff for their care; our father appreciated your medical and nursing care. Whilst at home, may we say thank you to the Family Nursing & Home Care team, all carers especially Peta with whom my father had developed a good rapport. Thank you to the Hospice team for your care, advice and support, you do an amazing job. Dr Marcella Buture GP for her care and attention throughout his life, and finally, thank you all at De Gruchy’s Funeral Care, particularly Ken and Mel, who have offered us support, guidance and compassion.
