YOUNG, Betty Margaret (formerly ROBINS) (nèe Le Huray)

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, 25 February, 2021, in the tender care of La Haule Care Home, in her 98th year. Loving mother of Richard and Jerry and their wives Susie and Rosie, much-loved Gran to Matthew, Ben, Tim, Tom, Mike, Josie and Dylan, and Gran Gran to her six great-grandchildren, a caring step-mother to Mike and Jean, and Sue and Kevin and their families in the UK. Now reunited with her beloved husbands Frank and Reg. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral Service

A funeral service will be held at St Helier Town Church. Those wishing to attend are kindly asked to contact Maillards, Funeral Directors, telephone 737291.

– Thank you to all who offered their condolences, sent flowers and attended Michael’s funeral. Our appreciation goes to Gary and his team at De Gruchy’s Funeral Care for the care, consideration and for going the extra mile when organising and providing a fitting farewell. Our thanks also go to Deacon David Cahill for the touching service, and to Mairead for enabling family from overseas to be a part of the service. Donald, Angela, Jennifer, Ruth and families would like to thank our family and friends for their love, support and for the many cards, calls, flowers and donations made to Diabetes Jersey. We are very grateful and these have all been very comforting to us; Mary was clearly very loved.

Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, 24 February, 2021, in his 92nd year, loving husband of Margaret, dearly loved father of Nigel, Chris, Sue, Steve and the late Michael, much-loved father-in-law, Grandpa and great-Grandpa, who will be greatly missed by all.

God saw that he was weary,

The hill too steep to climb,

So he gently closed his eyelids,

And whispered “Peace be thine”.
