Sharon, Sophie, Jean and family would like to thank all those who attended Bob’s beautiful funeral service, and for the many cards and messages we have received. Also a thank you for your kind donations to the Animals’ Shelter. Special thanks to Maria and devoted staff at St Joseph’s for the incomparable care they gave to Bob over the years, and for making him so comfortable and happy. Also to Family Nursing and Island Medical Centre, especially Dr Stephen Perchard for his lovely relationship with Bob, thank you to Cherie of Pitcher & Le Quesne for her compassionate spirit and ensuring such a dignified tribute to Bob, and to Father Matthew for his empathic understanding and ability to convey Bob’s life in such a beautiful way.

So loved by so many, so sadly missed but forever in our hearts.

Passed away on Monday, 25 January, 2021, beloved husband of Ella, much loved by Virginia and Peter, grandchildren and family.

LEE, Ronald

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 20 January, 2021, in the care of Cheval Roc Care Home and is now reunited with Doreen. Ron is sadly missed by Jonathan, Marcia, Mariella and Tom, but has been promoted to Glory and is at peace.

MANSELL, Kathleen Florence (nèe Walters)

Passed away peacefully in the loving care of Beaumont Villas, on Monday, 25 January, 2021, aged 93 years, devoted wife of the late Ray, much-loved mother of Kevin and Nicky, mother-in-law to Nicky and Michael and cherished Grandma of Lisa, Sarah, Mark and Thomas. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

MOODY, Margaret Rose (Maggs).

– Lee, David and family would like to thank everyone who sent cards, and messages of love and support at this very sad time. We cannot express enough gratitude for the love and care provided to Maggs by the staff on Maple Ward, Maggs’ home for nearly 10 years. Also, to the Cheval Roc team for their care, comfort and attention to Maggs’ needs in her last few months, after her recent transfer there. To Alicia at Maillards for her reassuring and professional support in arranging the funeral and to Reverend Jenny Pathmarajah for her sympathetic and compassionate handling of the funeral service. Thank you to all who attended and contributed to the funeral service in person or via live streaming, and to those who made donations to the Jersey Alzheimer’s Association in Maggs’ memory.

ATKINSON, Ann (née Percival)

Passed away peacefully in the tender care of Sandybrook Care Home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, 24 January, 2021, aged 77 years, adored wife of Dave for nearly 50 years, much-loved and treasured Mum of Lin and Jen, a loving Nanann to Elizabeth, Matt, Charlotte and Sophie.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A private family funeral will take place with a celebration of Ann’s life to follow later in 2021.
