15.10.1962 – 17.06.2020.

Died in the home he adored, surrounded by those he loved and who loved him the most, wife Cathy, son Michael, and daughters Jenny and Rosanna. The big hole in our hearts will never be filled.

OLNEY, Peggy Florence (formerly Shorto) (née Le Marquand)

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, 16 June, 2020, aged 84 years, beloved wife of the late Raymond Charles Olney, loving mother to Mark and Tanya, second Mum to Sam, Gran to Charlotte, Tabata and Bertie, and sister to Audrey. She will be greatly missed.

A private funeral will follow, with a commemorative service at a later date.

Pam, Sharon and John would like to thank Buddy’s dear friends for their support over the last year. We would like to express our appreciation to Silver Lea for the care and kindness they gave Buddy in the last 10 months, and The Rev Tony Morling for a fitting funeral service that gave thanks for Buddy’s life, he got the service spot on and gave great comfort at this difficult time. We are very grateful to Paul Battrick for his kind attention and professional service in helping us arrange Buddy’s service, and lastly, we would like to say a special thank you to our many friends for the cards, letters, phone calls and overwhelming flowers, they have been a great comfort to us and it has been wonderful to read so many tributes to Buddy.
